Frequently Asked Questions

How is InfoArmor different from other providers?
InfoArmor utilizes proprietary technology to monitor your SNAPD identity blueprint against a database of over 700 billion data points. We are able to detect fraud up to 90 days sooner than credit-based solutions and can even detect an elevated risk for future fraud. If we do detect misuse of your identity, we provide a team of experts to work on restoring your identity from start to case completion.

Other providers often rely on only credit and claim that it is complete protection. Credit monitoring can only protect against up to 21% of identity theft. Our solution is complete protection, detection, and resolution.

What is SNAPD®?
SNAPD (pronounced "SNAP"-D) stands for Social Security Number, Name, Address, Phone and Date of Birth. We use these elements to create your identity blueprint and then monitor it for misuse.

What happens if my identity is stolen?
If you are contacted by an InfoArmor Privacy Advocate® or simply have reason to suspect your identity was improperly used, rest assured that your identity will be restored. Our Privacy Advocates will professionally and effectively restore the health of your identity for you.

If you signed up for PrivacyArmor, we will work on your behalf to restore your identity. One of the benefits of PrivacyArmor is a dedicated Privacy Advocate that will contact the credit bureaus, complete paper work, contact various merchants, and help file police reports.

You will also be protected with $25,000 identity fraud expense coverage policy underwritten by Travelers Insurance.

Will I receive a credit report and credit score with this service?
InfoArmor will send reminders as well as provide you with the information to access your free credit report every four months. You are legally entitled to one free report each year from each of the three bureaus. Because we are unable to automate the process, we will remind you to request them from annualcreditreport.com. If you would also like to obtain a credit score, you will need to contact the bureaus directly. Keep in mind that identity protection goes far beyond your credit report.

Who do I call if I have questions about InfoArmor's services?
You can call an InfoArmor Privacy Advocate by calling 800.789.2720. We are available to answer your questions Monday through Friday between the hours of 8AM and 5PM Mountain Standard.

How do I access my account after I activate my service?
You can access your account at any time by visiting www.InfoArmor.com/SafetyNetsPlus. In your account section, you can edit your personal information, view your identity status and alerts, and access IdentityMD for tips, tools, and resources to prevent fraud and restore your identity should misuse occur.
